Our bakkwa boasts the highest quality of meat. Hand weaved using a traditional bamboo sieve, it is smothered slowly for hours over live coals in our secret recipe. The smoking process seals in a flow of sweet and savoury marinate that infuses delectable moisture into every piece of meat.

The bakkwa is then barbecued over a glowing fire until it spatters and caramelizes the tender meat in the all right place. Hot grill combined with dripping meat juice releases a sweet barbecue aroma to the already succulent meat meld together to deliver the authentic Bee Cheng Hiang Bakkwa.

As our bakkwa made without added preservatives, recommended to follow below tips to handle and store the bakkwa.

Freshly BBQ Bakkwa

  • Recommended to consume within 3 days from date of purchase.
  • Store in airtight container or into the fridge if not consumed immediately.
  • Away from direct sunlight and high temperature.
  • For warm bakkwa, let it cool before transferring it to airtight container.

Prepacked Bakkwa and Floss

  • For warm bakkwa, let it cool before transferring it to airtight container.
  • Recommended to consume within the best before date.
  • Store in airtight container after opening.
